Arts & Sciences Council heard a proposal for a new minor in technology policy at its last Thursday meeting of the semester.
Ken Rogerson, professor of the practice at the Sanford School of Public Policy, presented the proposal for the new program — which will equip students with the technical skills to better understand the intersection between public policy and ethics. Rogerson will co-lead the initiative with David Hoffman, Steed family professor of the practice at Sanford.
“Technology is here, and here we are. We are trying to respond to what we think is a need on campus,” Rogerson said. The council will vote on the proposal in January…
