Louisville police say officers shot and killed armed suspect at east end apartment complex

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville police said two officers shot and killed a man Thursday afternoon in Hurstbourne Acres after he refused to drop a gun.

Around 1:30 p.m., Louisville Metro Police officers responded to the 9000 block of Red Deer Circle, just northwest of Hurstbourne Parkway and Taylorsville Road. Deputy Chief Ryan Bates said a 911 caller said a white man wearing no shirt pointed a gun at a woman at the apartment complex.
