This week the Lee Board of County Commissioners approved a $6 million contract to Wright Construction to rebuild the restroom facilities at Lynn Hall Park on Fort Myers Beach. The structure should be open to the public in the Summer of 2027.
The building, renovated shortly before Hurricane Ian, was destroyed by the storm and eventually demolished by the county. The 4,114 square foot electated restroom building will include an ADA platform.
The project will be funded with FEMA funds, Regional Park impact fees and Tourist Development Taxes through the Beach and Shoreline Program. Construction is anticipated to begin February 2026, pending permit approvals, with estimated completion in early summer 2027…
