Sacramento Police Nab Suspect Edgar Rios-Zamora During Active Burglary on Norwood Avenue

In the quiet of night, a business alarm shattered the silence in the 2800 block of Norwood Avenue, summoning Sacramento Police Department officers to what they would discover was an active burglary. The Sacramento Police Department reported that on November 20, their officers responded to the alarm during the graveyard shift, and upon arrival, they witnessed a suspect in the midst of a break-in.

In responding to the scene, Edgar Rios-Zamora, a 25-year-old Sacramento resident, was arrested by the initial officer who saw him actively breaking into the business.
