New SNAP work rules take effect as San Diego Food Bank braces for impact

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — New work requirements are now in effect for San Diegans who rely on the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP, to get by.

While some see the changes as reducing program inefficiencies, others fear they will limit food access for those most at risk.
