Former FBI agent offers perspective on case of Melodee Buzzard, child missing for months

SANTA BARBARA, Ca. (KUTV) — It’s been nearly two months since 9-year-old Melodee Buzzard went missing.

Jennifer Coffindaffer, a former special agent with the FBI for 25 years, said the case “has really died down in the media.”

“I think a lot of people are concerned,” she said. “There’s been no additional information from the FBI, we’re not hearing from the local authorities. It just seems like nothing’s going on, when in fact, when I see that, I get excited because I know the FBI is actually hot and heavy on the case
