Stabbing incident involving sword in the Town of Salina injures three

SALINA, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Three people are injured after a stabbing incident in the parking lot of an apartment building in the Town of Salina, after one individual pulled out a sword.

Thursday, Dec. 4, around 1 a.m., the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office responded to multiple 911 calls reporting a violent altercation in the parking lot of the Grenadier Village Apartments. Callers said several men were actively fighting, and one had brandished a sword, which resulted in multiple stabbing victims.

Deputies arrived and located the involved individuals. Three people were found with laceration injuries:

  • 27-year-old Joseph Camber
  • 19-year-old Bishop Jones
  • A 35-year-old

Deputies provided immediate lifesaving medical care on scene, including applying tourniquets to the 35-year-old, who sustained severe leg injuries and significant blood loss. A tourniquet was also applied to Camber’s arm. Jones sustained a minor hand injury, but declined further medical treatment…
