TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The family of a newborn baby who was shot in her mother’s womb is speaking out days after the man accused in the shooting appeared in court in Hillsborough County.
The child’s mother is recovering, and the baby is still in the hospital, according to family. Due to the circumstances, the family said the baby is listed as Jane Doe in the hospital. But her grandmother said she has a name, and it says it all.

“Her name is Eternity. And we call her E-Miracle. Because she was a miracle baby,” said Priscilla Odoms, whose daughter and granddaughter were shot. “She has a feeding tube in and she hasn’t been able to hold down food. But she’s doing better.”
