WORCESTER – Around 9:45 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, near the end of UniBank’s 10 cents a gallon gas giveaway, traffic was still backed up in the Canal District as many waited to take advantage of the deal.
The event, which ran from 7 to 10 a.m., was to celebrate the one-year anniversary of UniBank’s second Worcester location at 1 Green Island Blvd., near Polar Park.
