MONROE, La. (KNOE) – The Center for Disease Control and Prevention says Louisiana leads the nation in Flu cases.
Dr. Richard Camm says surrounding states are seeing similar increases in cases, but it is not known what is causing this trend.
“We don’t have actual proof at this point as to why Louisiana started hotter than the others, but the suspicion is that, we’ve got a couple of port cities in South Louisiana that are, New Orleans and Baton Rouge are both going to be prone to access entry points that people come to visit and vacation and football games on Saturday nights in Baton Rouge,” Camm said…
