Fugitive accused of abusing Iowa minor captured in Virginia

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — A Virginia man wanted on multiple sex abuse charges in Linn County has been arrested by U.S. Marshals.

Jonathan Christopher Walton, 22, was taken into custody Wednesday in Rice, Virginia, according to the U.S. Marshals Service. Walton is accused of traveling to Iowa to engage in a sexual relationship with a minor, leading to several third-degree sexual abuse charges filed in Linn County.
