JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – People from eight different countries became American citizens in Jackson, Mississippi, on December 4, 2025.
The naturalization ceremony was held at the Thad Cochran United States Courthouse. At a time when many immigrants feel unsafe, local organizations said when the legal process is followed, here is nothing to fear.
“I would say to all of those that the process works. It is long and by design. I want to make sure that they understand our process and our rules and our laws, but the process works.
