Family of woman who went missing says her body was found

The body of a young Colorado woman who went missing over the weekend was located on Thursday. That’s according to the family of Kaylee Russell, a 20-year-old from Evans. The family says they are “devastated” by the news.

The Colorado State Patrol said they found Russell’s vehicle in the afternoon in Northern Colorado, at the same time a search party had been looking for her. CSP said divers located a body inside the vehicle. They didn’t officially identify that person.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation issued an endangered missing alert for Russell, who was last seen dropping off her dad near a park-and-ride in Loveland near I-25 after he helped her change a flat tire. She was supposed to visit a cousin, but didn’t show up for that visit…
