Masked Gunmen Terrorize Kaimukī Home In Overnight Break-In

Honolulu police are searching for two masked men who forced their way into a Kaimukī home yesterday, leaving one resident injured after a violent struggle inside a normally quiet neighborhood.

According to the Honolulu Police Department, the intruders entered a residence on Alencastre Street at about 2:25 a.m. and fled in an unknown direction. A 58-year-old resident was assaulted and taken to a hospital for treatment, while a 55-year-old witness saw the attack unfold.

Police Description And Timeline

In their alert, Honolulu Police Department said both suspects were armed with firearms when they entered the home.

Investigators described the first suspect as a local male in his 30s to 40s, about 5’6″ to 5’8″, heavy set at roughly 180 to 200 pounds, wearing a light-gray hoodie and mask and armed with a firearm. The second suspect was described as a local male in his 40s, also about 5’6″ to 5’8″ with a husky build, wearing a black long-sleeve shirt and mask and armed as well…
