25-year-old accused of stalking minor, throwing Molotov cocktail into Brighton home

BRIGHTON, Mich. (WLNS) — Quick-thinking neighbors extinguished fires after several Molotov cocktails were thrown at a Brighton home late Nov. 28, authorities said.

Deputies arrested Alex Buley-Neumar, 25, of Mount Pleasant on Nov. 29 in connection with an alleged stalking and harassment case involving a minor on social media.

Buley-Neumar was arraigned Dec. 1 in 53rd District Court on the following charges:

  • Count 1: Manufacture/Possess Molotov cocktail causing damage — 20-year felony
  • Count 2: Aggravated stalking of a minor — 10-year felony
  • Count 3: Using a computer to commit a crime — 10-year felony
  • Count 4: Accosting a child for immoral purposes — 4-year felony

He remains in jail on a $1 million cash/surety bond…
