NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — A recent uptick in gun violence and crime at Montague Corners in North Charleston has neighbors and business owners on edge many of them now urging police to increase patrols to keep the area safe.
Around 11:30 p.m. last night, North Charleston Police responded to reports of two vehicles exchanging gunfire outside 5060 Dorchester Road. It’s the latest in a string of violent incidents that residents say is changing the atmosphere of the once-busy shopping center.
