SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WHNS/Gray News) – A newborn baby has been safely surrendered under Daniel’s Law, authorities in South Carolina said.
The South Carolina Department of Social Services (DSS) said the baby boy was born on Sunday at Prisma Health Greer Memorial Hospital and weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces. He was 20 inches long at the time of his birth.
According to DSS, the infant was safely surrendered under the Safe Haven for Abandoned Babies Act on the day he was born, and Spartanburg County DSS took custody of the child…
