High school senior killed in shooting at Westside Burger King to be laid to rest 2 weeks after his murder

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – An 18-year-old who was killed in a double shooting while trying to break up a fight at his job will be laid to rest this weekend.

A candlelight vigil will be held Friday night to honor Matthew Jackson, who was shot almost two weeks ago at a Burger King on the Westside after he intervened when one of his co-workers and another man were fighting.

His co-worker was also shot but survived…
