HARRISBURG, Pa (WHTM) — While popular businesses in Midtown Harrisburg — like the Broad Street Market remain partly closed for construction and others such as Zeroday prepare to close its doors some local business owners are alarmed.
“Foot traffic has decreased,” said Vivian Sterste, an artist and owner of Vivi on Verbeke.
Sterste told abc27 News, foot traffic has been on the decline even before the fire that claimed the market back in 2023.

“Before COVID , it was livelier,’ she said. “The Broad Street Market was filled with vendors, so a lot of people were coming in and people would wander around Midtown and find us either by word or just by walking around.”…
