KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A pedestrian is dead after they were struck by a vehicle on Chapman Highway in South Knoxville Thursday evening.
The Knoxville Police Department said officers were dispatched to the crash on Chapman Highway at Moody Lane around 10:40 p.m.

Based on their investigation, officers believe a Nissan Titan truck was driving south on Chapman Highway when the pedestrian walked in front of the truck.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released at this time…
