NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A dangerous South Nashville intersection is getting an upgrade as a new traffic light has been approved for Bell Road.
Metro Councilwoman Joy Styles said this is a huge win for the community, and it should put a stop to accidents on a very dangerous road.

Styles has been working on obtaining the light since 2022. This particular light on Bell Road will be placed at an intersection between two apartment complexes: The Avana Collins Creek and The Lyric.
Styles said that stretch of road sees several accidents on an almost weekly basis. And after receiving several complaints from her constituents, she reached out to the Nashville Department of Transportation to start working on the new light…
