ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — A power pole snapped off and caused a live power line to hang low over the roadway in Escambia County on Friday morning.
Escambia County Fire Rescue says the incident occurred on Beulah Road south of Interstate 10 near Isaacs Lane around 6:45 a.m. when an Escambia County transfer truck from the Perdido Landfill struck the line.
