NEW YORK, N.Y. — The New York Attorney General (AG) urges current and former DoorDash delivery workers, who have gotten notice they are eligible for the Office of the Attorney General’s $16.75 million DoorDash settlement, to file claims by the end of December.
The settlement, announced in February, comes after an investigation by the AG’s office found that DoorDash misled both delivery workers, called “dashers,” and customers, by using tips meant for workers to subsidize their guaranteed pay.
The AG’s office says about 63,000 delivery workers who delivered food for DoorDash in New York between May 2017 and September 2019 are eligible to get funds from this settlement…
