MCSO: $35K worth of property, including guns, stolen in Key Largo; 2 arrested

KEY LARGO, Fla. — Two men have been arrested in Hillsborough County in connection with the theft of a storage trailer in Key Largo that contained about $35,000 worth of property, including guns, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office announced Friday.

According to MCSO spokesman Adam Linhardt, the theft of the 2025 TR Extreme storage trailer was reported Wednesday after it had been stolen from a property on Tortuga Drive.

Linhardt said the “trailer contained household items, appliances, tools, clothing, hunting gear, and approximately 25 firearms, several of which are family heirlooms.”…
