Man from Nigeria in Baton Rouge pleads guilty to gun charge

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A man from Nigeria living in Baton Rouge pleaded guilty to a gun charge in connection with an incident involving his ex-girlfriend.

A release from the Department of Justice stated that Godson Oghenebrume, 22, pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by an alien admitted to the United States under a non-immigrant visa after a February incident involving the mother of his child.

According to officials, he faces up to 15 years in prison, a $250,000 fine, up to three years of supervised release and possible deportation after serving his sentence…
