CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — CRST says they will lay off over 300 employee nationwide. The shipping company says many of those will be drivers.
The Cedar Rapids based company says they are making changes to the 4,300 truck fleet. That includes moving 100 trucks to other parts of the business and removing 200 trucks from the fleet.
In a press release the company says the impacted employees have been given a 60-day notice. They say they plan to work with those effected by the decision ad hope to provide alternative driving opportunities…
