What started out as simply a new restaurant coming to Amarillo took a turn that nobody saw coming. The Texas Rose Steakhouse, which has locations in Pampa and Borger, used to have one in Canyon, too.
From Canyon to Coulter — What Changed
They announced earlier that they were getting an Amarillo location. We didn’t know then that it was also taking the location in Canyon away. That is what happened. It closed right before Thanksgiving.
Since then, we have been waiting for the location to open in Amarillo. There were hints that it would be soon. They were still hiring for a few positions. There was chatter on social media that they were going to try to open up on Wednesday.
