Quad Cities Forecast: 2–4 Inches of Snow Likely With Hazardous Travel Overnight Saturday

Quad Cities, IA/IL – A round of dry, fluffy snow is set to move across eastern Iowa and northwest Illinois Saturday night into early Sunday, bringing travel hazards and slick road conditions, according to the National Weather Service in the Quad Cities.

Forecasters say snow will develop west to east between 7 p.m. Saturday and 1 a.m. Sunday, tapering off by late Sunday morning. Most areas north of Highway 34 — including Waterloo, Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, and the Quad Cities — have a 60–80% chance of at least two inches of accumulation
