ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – With its shelter nearing capacity and running out of cages, Winnebago County Animal Services will hold a reduced-fee adoption event called “Empty the Shelters- Holiday Hope.”
“Our cat population is currently well beyond our ideal capacity, and we’re working hard to make space for the many animals who still need our help,” said Adoption and Volunteer Program Coordinator Amber Pinnon.
