‘You blew it’: Teen charged in brother’s shooting to remain in detention after violating release terms

BEXAR COUNTY, Texas – A teenager accused of shooting and killing his brother was ordered to remain in detention after violating conditions of his release, Bexar County 436th Juvenile District Court Judge William “Cruz” Shaw ruled on Thursday.

The 13-year-old was charged with manslaughter in connection with the July 25 shooting death of his 8-year-old brother, Daniel Casares, in the 3500 block of Bob Billa Street.
