Francis Howell to hand over records on $230,000 superintendent exit after subpoena

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – The public could soon learn why Francis Howell’s former superintendent was paid nearly $230,000 to leave the district before he fully started the job.

The Francis Howell School District says it will turn over records by the end of this week to Missouri Auditor Scott Fitzpatrick’s office, which is investigating the July separation agreement with former Superintendent Mike Dominguez.

The commitment follows a subpoena the auditor issued to the district’s attorney on Nov. 25, after the auditor’s office said Francis Howell had impeded the probe by failing to provide unredacted closed-session minutes and other records explaining Dominguez’s departure and payout…
