Bail is revoked for driver in fatal 2024 crash in Morrow County

UMATILLA COUNTY – Anthony Alan Daulton, 42, of Las Vegas has been returned to Umatilla County Jail after his bail was revoked and an arrest warrant was issued for the man charged with manslaughter, driving under the influence of intoxicants, and other crimes following a wreck on Highway 730 in Morrow County on July 19, 2024.

At the time of the incident the Oregon State Police reported Daulton’s vehicle crossed into the eastbound lane and struck a pickup truck driven by Abraham Figuero-Ayala of Umatilla head-on. Figueroa-Ayala and his young son were killed in the crash.

The Oregon Department of Justice (ODOJ) is handling the prosecution against Daulton. He had paid a deposit of $15,000 to be bailed out of the Umatilla County Jail. ODOJ learned Daulton was arrested for a crash under similar circumstances in Las Vegas on Nov. 6.
