A man who escaped from MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility in 2024 was sentenced Dec. 4 to 11 months in prison.
Julian Diaz-Navarro, 21, was one of three men who escaped from MacLaren, the Oregon Youth Authority’s largest facility located in Woodburn, at about 9:12 p.m. on Feb. 18, 2024.
Diaz-Navarro, Xavier Swimm and Angel Diaz-Barrera, were arrested over the next several months and returned to custody. All have since faced charges for the escape and other offenses. Diaz-Navarro is the latest to be sentenced…
