SPOKANE — The family of Spencer Wirth has filed a wrongful death lawsuit alleging Spokane County Jail staff ignored his medical emergency two years ago.
Wirth was hit by a car and later collapsed at his mother’s home. When she called for an ambulance, he was arrested on an outstanding warrant and sent to the emergency room.
“Mr. Wirth arrived with very, very serious symptoms. He could not walk more than a very short distance without fainting or collapsing,” said Colin Prince, the attorney representing Wirth’s estate…
