HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Board of Water Supply issued a warning on Dec. 5 urging customers to be on the lookout for scammers impersonating BWS officials.
The warning originated from a report of an individual in the Salt Lake area identifying himself as a BWS field worker to enter someone’s home.
It was reported that the impersonator claimed he was “changing out water meters,” but lacked proper BWS credentials.
