City of Shafter may get new shopping center

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Shafter community could soon get a new shopping center with a “major national tenant.”

The Planning Commission is set to hold a public hearing regarding the approval of a conditional use permit to develop a commercial shopping center in the city, according to the Shafter Planning Commission agenda for Tuesday.
