BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A jury has been chosen and opening statements are slated to begin Monday morning in the trial of a woman charged with murder in the hot car death of her 1-year-old son.
Maya Hernandez, 20, faces charges of first-degree murder, involuntary manslaughter and child cruelty.
