BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The City of Good Neighbors is again living up to its name after the community came together to help a Buffalo woman and refugee who had her car vandalized on the heels of losing everything in a fire.
For Therese Kolelabafiala, the latter part of 2025 has been nothing short of a nightmare. After immigrating to the U.S. last year from the Congo, devastation struck. She and her three children, including a 3-month-old, lost their home and all of their belongings in a fire in September.
The very next month, now in a new place following the fire, tragedy struck Therese again – this time in the form of a traumatizing incident of vandalism…
