COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A woman has been arrested in connection with a complex murder case involving the shooting death of Keith Morgan, who died from a gunshot wound on North Hampton Road on Nov. 21.
Police were dispatched to an apartment on the 20 block of North Hampton Road after a 911 caller advised “girlfriend’s kids shot the caller’s cousin,” according to court documents. Officers arrived at the scene to find Morgan inside the apartment suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Morgan was pronounced dead after being taken to Grant Medical Center.
Homicide detectives were notified about the shooting and that the incident was connected to a domestic dispute on Burstock Road involving Morgan and his girlfriend, Tiffany Tyler, which happened shortly before the murder.
