GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — The Triad’s first Piggly Wiggly aimed to open on Thanksgiving, but delays in federal programs have pushed back that opening date.
While there is still no set date for opening, the long-running federal shutdown delayed approval of Small Business Administration loans, which impacted the Freeman Mill Road location’s opening date, according to developer Shahzad Akbar, with S&S Capital LLC.
