HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – A man is out of jail after being accused of lying about a September shooting outside a Horry County convenience store.
The Horry County Police Department charged Jason Hunt with obstructing justice Wednesday.
Officers responded on Sept. 11, 2025, to Gerald’s Convenience Store at 6475 N. Highway 701 near Conway for a shooting.
This shooting was reported as an accident, with Hunt telling police that Tyler Gerald asked him to take him to the hospital after Tyler’s gun discharged while he was cleaning it, hitting him in the leg, according to an arrest warrant…
