U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement placed a hold on an unlicensed driver from Nicaragua who was arrested near Trailwinds Village in Wildwood.
A deputy saw a white four-door Lexus cross into an area marked with a “Do Not Enter” sign around 3:20 p.m. Thursday, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. The driver, 50-year-old Alfredo Moran Andrades, positioned the vehicle in a left-hand turn lane, facing oncoming traffic on County Road 466A.
After he was pulled over, Moran Andrades handed over a Republica de Nicaragua ID. He had never been issued a license in the United States, as confirmed by a check of his driving history, the report said…
