A man in Florida was getting his hair braided by his co-worker when suddenly the woman’s boyfriend stormed through the door and shot him in the face, authorities say.​

Jon Fuller, 31, has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of 28-year-old Cameron Hoilette and pleaded not guilty during his initial court appearance on December 1, 2025; he remains held without bond in Orange County Jail. The shooting occurred around noon on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025, at the girlfriend’s apartment on Summit Centre Way in Maitland, a suburb of Orlando. Fuller had driven about 180 miles from West Palm Beach despite her telling him not to visit, amid ongoing relationship tensions including accusations of cheating while she was nine months pregnant.​

Hoilette arrived for a hair-braiding session and offered to leave when Fuller entered uninvited, but Fuller allegedly pulled a gun and shot him once in the face at close range in a back bedroom without warning. Officers found Hoilette deceased on the floor with a spent shell casing nearby; CPR efforts failed. The girlfriend fled fearing for her life, called 911, and Fuller drove away stating he was heading home.​​…
