Woman sentenced to 10 years in prison for drug related charge

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — A woman will spend at least 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to drug-related charges, according to court filings from the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

New Texas laws taking effect in 2026

According to court documents, Amanda White has agreed to plead guilty to “Possession with Intent to Distribute 500 grams or more of Methamphetamine.”

She was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the charge. The sentence is set to run concurrently to any sentence that may be imposed by other open cases she has in Idaho and Nevada.
