CYPRESS, TX — Houston Strong Roofing in Cypress brought together volunteers to assemble 175 bicycles for children in need this Christmas as part of its third annual community initiative.
“We were trying to come up with a way that we could give back to the community. But, you know, kids are, like, stuck to tablets and iPhones these days. So when we were young, we came up on the bicycles, so we wanted to get kids outside,” said Daron Burt with Houston Strong Roofing. “Every year we do it. This year we have 175 bikes. And it’s a lot of work putting them together. So we have probably 75 volunteers inside.”…
