Saturday Dumpling Co. went big for its first year as a legit restaurant.
Peter Bian and Linda Cao, the husband-and-wife duo behind the brand, started off selling packages of frozen dumplings from a Minneapolis bar during the pandemic. They eventually transitioned to a commissary kitchen and added hot-food items alongside dumplings during weekly pick-ups, steadily building the hype that all but forced the pair to become restaurant owners.
