Boulder County Awards $6.3 Million to Support Local Housing, Childcare, and Human Services

Boulder County, Colorado, has announced the recipients of its 2026 Human Services Fund and Worthy Cause grant programs. The county will distribute $6.32 million to 39 local nonprofit organizations and housing partners. The grants support affordable housing, childcare, and human services for county residents.

The Human Services Fund awarded $1,325,818 to 24 organizations. These groups provide services such as food assistance, legal help, youth programs, and health care. This year, the fund received 50 applications requesting over $2.4 million. Recipients include A Precious Child, Boulder Housing Partners Foundation, and the Immigrant Legal Center of Boulder County.

The Worthy Cause program allocated $4,998,658 to 15 organizations and housing partners. This funding supports capital projects, including affordable housing, facility improvements, and expanded childcare services.
