ANN ARBOR, MI – There is a time-honored history of drinks with explicit names at bars in college towns. Typically, they are precursors to a night of debauchery.
I just had one in a wholesome holiday wonderland themed after “Christmas Vacation.” I’ll share the menu here so you can read it, but it’s themed after Uncle Eddie’s trailer from the 1989 comedy classic.

The drink is the requisite color of brown with a mix of vodka, kahlua, cold brew coffee and plentiful whipped cream and cocoa dust. It’s a pumped-up Black Russian in a lot of ways, which is one of my favorite holiday cocktails…
