Man pleads no contest to assault charge in shooting at mobile home park

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man accused of shooting another man at a mobile home park has pleaded no contest to assault with a gun, according to court records.

Other charges, including attempted murder, were dismissed against Kody Charles Ellis, records show. He’s scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 18.
