GEORGIA — Four men face criminal charges following a late-night fight at Lake Lanier Islands on Tuesday that left one man with serious injuries.
The incident occurred just after 11:45 p.m. at Legacy Lodge, where Hall County deputies found 47-year-old Carmelo Perez Rodriguez of Bean Station, Tennessee, with serious facial injuries. Officials said the men were attending a work meeting at the resort and had been drinking at Bullfrogs Bar & Grille.
According to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, Rodriguez became loud and antagonistic toward other guests and was refused additional alcohol by bar staff. This led to a confrontation with 29-year-old Issac Gordon of Zirconia, North Carolina.
